Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic
Regulation Order at the above location.
The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety for
Leicestershire County Council to facilitate carriageway patching.
A road closure is required on Tamworth Road between Avenue Road and Lower
Packington Road on the 16th July 2025 for one day between 09:00 and 15:00.
The proposed alternative diversion route will be via Measham Road, Ashby de la
Zouch; Measham Road, Bridge Street, Heather Lane, Normanton Road, Ashby
Road, Packington; From Ashby Road to Lower Packington Road, Upper Packington
Road, Leicester Road, Upper Church Street, Wood Street, Market Street, Bath
Street, Station Road, Ashby de la Zouch; and vice versa.
