Wigginton and Hopwas Parish Council currently has a vacancy for a local handyperson, and we are reaching out to neighbouring parish councils to ask whether you might know of anyone who would be interested in this small but important role.
The position involves approximately 1–2 hours of work per week and includes the following duties:
Basic playground checks
Weekly emptying of a litter bin on the Canal towpath
Litter picking in playground
Small maintenance and repair tasks
Delivering the Parish Council newsletter
Light upkeep of Parish flower planters
