The Parish Council has received a request from residents of Home Croft Drive that a cultivation licence be applied for to allow the verges at the top of Home Croft Drive to be planted up.
There have been ongoing problems for the residents due to parking on the verges which affects visibility and makes it dangerous for them to pull out of the Drive.
We have been in contact with Leicestershire County Council and they have agreed that they will consider an application to cultivate the verge with low growing shrubs and plants.
Part of the process is to consult local residents who this may effect and we would be pleased to hear from you if you have any comments at all about this proposal. Please either email the Clerk at clerk@packingtonpc.org.uk or write to the Clerk at 22 Rockingham Road, Mountsorrel, Leicestershire LE12 7UJ by the 8th August 2025 as this will be discussed at the Parish Council meeting on the 12th August 2025
